Join Us!

Cassingham Choir is open to any interested 5th or 6th grade student. Students choose to be a part of Morning Choir on Wednesday mornings from 7:55-8:25, or Daytime Choir, which meets during lunch/recess on Thursdays, from 12:05-12:35. 

If you would like to join Choir, please have your parents download and sign the Choir Contract and Permission Form, which also includes an order form for the Cassingham Choir shirt.

Expectations

Students, to participate in Cassingham Choir I expect you to:

• attend every rehearsal unless you have an excused absence. After three unexcused absences, you may not be able to perform in the final concert unless you can demonstrate full knowledge or your part.
• find a substitute for patrol if you are a Morning Safety Patrol. If you do not find a substitute, attend rehearsal for the first 15 minutes. You will receive a ½ unexcused absence on mornings you need to leave to serve on Patrol.
• arrive on time
• keep electronic devices out of sight and unused during rehearsal
• demonstrate respectful behavior and kindness
• sing your best

Uniform

For concerts, we wear the white Cassingham Choir T-shirt with black pants or a black skirt, along with black shoes. (No sandals or flip flops.) Hair should be combed and pulled away from the face. 

Schedule

Beginning January 20 and 21, we will meet once a week until our concert on Wednesday, April 13 at 7:00 pm in the HS Schottenstein Theatre.
